On Thursday June 10th 1999 I was lucky enough to be invited to experience the first performance in front of an audience from a new band called JUST ADD TALENT. This band (which is made up of work colleagues) perform Punk and New Wave classics from the late 70's/early 80's. The band members are:-
Here is the set of songs that they performed with the original performers:
FIRST SET
Baby's In The Club - JOHN OTWAY
Turning Japanese - THE VAPORS
The Young Ones - ANGELIC UPSTARTS
Another Girl Another Planet - THE ONLY ONES
King Rocker - GENERATION X
I Fought The Law - THE CLASH
SECOND SET
Hurry Up Harry - SHAM 69
Teenage Kicks - UNDERTONES
Sheena Is A Punk Rocker - RAMONES
Silly Thing - SEX PISTOLS
Jilted John - JILTED JOHN
Into The Valley - SKIDS
Do Anything You Wanna Do - EDDIE AND THE HOT RODS
Anarchy In The UK - SEX PISTOLS
and for the ENCORE:-
Hurry Up Harry - SHAM 69
The audience and I were pleasantly surprised at how good they were, in fact I thought the performance was very good and I can't wait to see them again, they certainly do not need to JUST ADD TALENT as they've already got it.
